It's Cheesecake Factory's world, we're just living in it

Happy new year (except to those who stop celebrating after the third)!

First, my heart goes out to all those in Los Angeles, whether they're displaced, home and worried, or on the front lines (I know someone in every category personally). I'm a big fan of World Central Kitchen for their work in disaster zones (displacement = liminal zone, and no one knows better than we do how tender those times are). They're in LA already. If you're looking for a way to contribute, join me here.

Liminal zones often precipitate new chapters in our lives. Trust the seeming non-sequitur here: It's been a long time since I've been in a Cheesecake Factory, but I think about it all the time doing the work I do. Here's why.

The New York Times called getting unstuck one of the top 10 things to do for your mind this year. They have some nice tips, and you're in the right place if you want to go a lot deeper than that!

Thank you for being here!
